A Slovenian campaign for demonstrating that volunteering enables us to change ourselves, our community and environment. We invite everyone to become a volunteer for JUST ONE DAY, connect with others in their community and do something about a concrete problem and improve the quality of life. We invite NGOs, individuals, schools, companies, municipalities and the media.
Since the first Make a Difference Day in 2010 we have had intergenerational actions, changed neglected playgrounds into colourful places for socialising, gave old things a new purpose, helped school funds with clothes and objects exchanges, spread respect and solidarity for cooperation, set out to eliminate discrimination, contributed to sustainable development goals and helped overcome loneliness.
