Clinic with counselling service for persons without health insurance
In cooperation with the Municipality of Ljubljana, Community Health Centre Ljubljana and Karitas Štepanja vas we established the Clinic with counselling service for persons without basic health insurance in 2002.
Doctors, nurses, psychotherapists, physiotherapists, pharmacists and legal experts work as volunteers at the clinic and provide medical and other services for the visitors. In 2019, they brought 1600 volunteering hours.
The aim of the clinic is to provide medical assistance and advice to individuals, who can’t afford it, who don’t have basic health insurance for whatever reason and who live in the area of the Municipality of Ljubljana.
We put an emphasis on counselling, advocacy and psychosocial assistance for our users. Alongside medical and social care, users can also take a shower and get the most urgent material help – underwear, hygenic products, clothes, footwear and other things – at the clinic.

PRO BONO DENTAL CLINIC
A clinic for dental health services was established in 2017 in Matenja vas. It provides urgent dental services for the socially vulnerable in Municipalities of Postojna and Pivka, and for asylum seekers who are users of Slovene Philanthropy’s services.

The expenses of the dental clinic are covered by:

- Municipality of Postojna
