Free journalism and social media training for migrants

Radio Študent and Slovene Philanthropy have launched a new project: Migrants Giving Voice to Migrants. The project aims to empower migrants who are significantly disadvantaged  in Slovenian society to actively advocate for their needs and rights through a series of activities, directed towards increasing the sensibility of the Slovenian public about the position of migrants, strengthening media literacy, communication power and inner cohesiveness of the migrant community and creating conditions for their formal organising. We will carry out a series of trainings which reflect the situation on the ground and specific needs of migrants for successful advocacy. First training course (journalism and social media management) will start at the end of March 2021. All project activities will be held in English and are free of charge!
