Hello everyone✨ my name is Sana, and I arrived in Maribor a little over a month ago as part of the European Solidarity Corps. I am volunteering with the Slovenska filantropija association.
I am delighted because working in this association gives true meaning to the word “volunteering.” I feel useful while being in a pleasant environment with great colleagues! Here I have the opportunity to do what I want, I was really interested in giving English and French classes and everything was set up so I could do it! I have adults and kids group and that’s something I really like.
Additionally, I had the opportunity to visit the city of Murska Sobota, and Maribor is full of international students, so I have met many people and participated in many activities which makes my volunteering even cooler!
