Hello everybody!
Just a little update on my volunteering adventure with the European Solidarity Corps in Slovenia. Everything’s going great, and I’m still loving my time here in Maribor. Recently, I attended my midterm training in Črnomelj with Movit, which was the opportunity to reflect on my journey and meet other volunteers.
I also had an amazing New Year’s Eve in Maribor – what a great way to start the year!
During my volunteering work, I’m teaching French in both English and French. It’s been such a rewarding experience, and I’m still enjoying it so much. I also had the chance to interview producer David Fedele during the Festival of Migrant film, and I was so proud to have this opportunity to connect with him and learn from his work.
I’ve been traveling a lot – not only to Croatia, Hungary, and Austria, but also exploring Slovenia itself! I visited Ptuj, Celje, and Zgornje Gorje, and each place had its own charm. And of course, I’m still working on my Slovenian – it’s a challenge, but I’m making progress!
